Avin Sohorye
FOUNDER
For Avin, styling hair has always been a passion. From the day he first started training in his local barbershop more than 15 years ago to franchising the Crew Barber Class For Men brand in Ireland. In 2013, Avin established The Crew Academy in order to share his knowledge and his passion. As a Master in barbering, an American Crew All-Star Stylist and a VTCT trained educator and assessor, his vision is to provide the highest level of training to every student that walks through the Academy doors, and for them to ultimately leave feeling confident and equipped to start a successful career in barbering.

Caroline Lisis
INSTRUCTOR
Growing up in Mauritius and starting her career at the age of 15, Caroline has more than 28 years of experience in the beauty and hairdressing industry. She has travelled the world to learn and develop her craft. Although she has always been passionate about hair and beauty, her true passion is helping people realise their own potential. Today she is a registered educator and assessor with VTCT and she is dedicated to sharing her passion with her students – helping them grow their skill, confidence, and self-esteem to realise their own dream career.
