You will need to arrange two models for the day (from 1pm for day workshops and from 6.30pm for evening workshops). Please bring along your own set of clippers and tools. Styling products will be provided.

Threading for Men Evening Workshop

Threading of eyebrows, upper lip and sides of the face
Aftercare
Models and equipment:
You will need to arrange a model for the day (from 1pm for day workshops and from 6.30pm for evening workshops). Models must have problem-free skin and a suitable amount of facial hair to practise hair removal on brows and upper cheeks. All equipment will be provided, including a small threading kit to take home.
Certification:
Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement from The Crew Academy upon completion.
Hot Towel Shave Workshop
Up your skill in the workplace to meet the rising demand for luxury barbering treatments. Learn the traditional art of Cut Throat Shaving, hot and cold towel techniques, facial massage and aftercare.

Skill level: Intermediate
Suitable for candidates with a minimum Level 2 Barbering, Hairdressing or Beauty Certificate, or 1 year experience in one of these industries.

Health and safety when shaving
How to handle and use your tools correctly
How to prepare client
Facial massage
Facial hair growth patterns
Influencing factors
The use of hot and cold towels
Delivering a smooth shave
Aftercare products
Models and equipment:
You will need to arrange a model for the day (from 1pm for day workshops and from 6.30pm for evening workshops). Models must have a suitable amount of facial hair to practise your shaving technique. Please bring along your own cut-throat razor. All other equipment will be provided.
Certification:
Participants will receive a Certificate of Achievement from The Crew Academy upon completion.
Introduction to Barbering (12 Weeks)
Introduction to Barbering (VTCT Level 2 Certificate) is an entry-level barbering course that will teach you everything you need to know to start working and earning as a Junior Barber.
